Renaissance Faire Costume, etc. Workshop

Want to get the most out of our trip to the Renaissance Faire?  Come to
this workshop and learn how to put together a simple (or if you prefer,
elaborate) 16th century costume.  Try on some sample costumes and take
home lots of ideas and even patterns if you like to sew.  Renaissance study
materials will also be available for a small (copying) fee.  Information on
culture, crafts, food, manners, games and more will be provided.  Bring
along any costume parts you may have and find out how to finish the outfit.

DIRECTIONS:    Take the 10 Freeway to the Indian Hill Exit.  Go N. on
Indian Hill to Bonita Ave. and  turn R.  Go to College Way and turn L. to
Bridges Auditorium.
Enjoy musical theater in one of the Inland Empire’s treasures. This grand
structure has an immediate, awe-inspiring impact on young people, and
with a seating capacity on 2,400, is suitable for the large student audiences
that attend.  At Bridges’ opening in 1931, it was widely regarded as the
finest theater in Southern California and quickly became one of the region’s
cultural assets.  Its great white columns, vaulting arches, grand marble
foyer and hand painted coffered ceilings provide the perfect setting for an
enchanting outing at the ballet.

Renaissance Faire School Day

east to the entrance (approx. 1 mile)

     Spend the day in Queen Elizabeth’s England!  You will have your own
tickets, so you can come and go as you please.  We will have a preparation
class on Tuesday, April 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. to help you with your
King James English and your proper attire.  We also have lots of study info
included with your ticket price.  Please sign up for workshop in the field trip
book.
