Brass Rubbing

See a display of over 100 brass markers depicting medieval
life as well as 14th & 15th century historical figures: Crusader Knights
and ladies, merchants & kings, mythical dragons and unicorns..
Make waxed reproductions. (A piece of history you can take home.)
There will also be an introductory docent talk and demonstrations.
Materials for the rubbings (rag paper and metallic crayons) will be
provided.

DIRECTIONS: Going N. on 605 Frwy. Exit at Peck Rd, turn L. at
bottom of off ramp on Pellissier which turns into Workman Mill. Going
S. on 605 Frwy, exit S on Peck Road, Left on Workman Mill.
NOTE: Please carpool if possible. Parking is severely limited.
You may meet at EIE at 9:45 AM to make connections with
other families.
This is a walking tour of the treatment facility. Students walk through
the control room of the plant and see tanks of water where solids have
settled. They will learn how water is cycled, about water quality,
conservation, and see pictures and samples of treated water.
