PLACE:      Miramar  Marine Corps Air Station  - Located about 15 miles
north of downtown San Diego, between Interstate Highways 805 and 15

DIRECTIONS:  Access the main (east) gate from the MCAS Miramar
(Miramar Way) exit on I-15 –               

OR-  access the north or west gates from the Miramar Road exit on I-15
or I-805.    

Once on base, follow directions to  show area.

TIME:                10:30 AM Arrival time.  K-2nd have a 1 hour tour.  
                  3rd—12th have a 1 ¼ hour tour.                
COST:                $3.00 per family     
                  (bring a sack lunch for the picnic time)

                  (younger siblings can go with parents on a self-guided
                  visit)
PLACE:        1200 Getty Center Drive, Los Angeles
            Take the 405 (San Diego) Fwy., exit at Getty Center Drive.
            Follow signs to museum.
PARKING:   Underground parking is free.  You must tell the parking
attendent that you are part of

CHILDREN’S THEATRE EXPERIENCE

TIME:       11:00 AM (to line up and be ready to enter)
COST:      $4.00 per person
PARKING:  Parking lot next to Auditiorium (free).
PLACE:      San Gabriel Civic Auditorium,  312 South Mission, San Gabriel
From the 210 Freeway take the Sierra Madre Blvd. off ramp and go
south.  After about about 2-3 miles you will come to Huntington Drive.  
Continue across Huntington Dr. where  the street changes its name to
San Marino Avenue, continue until street makes a Y”, take right side
(Santa Anita), continue south on Santa Anita to Mission Drive, turn right.
Auditorium is on the right and parking lot next to it.
From the 10 Frwy:  Take New Avenue north;  it becomes Ramona;  after
railroad tracks, jog around the left side of the Mission to Mission Drive.  
Follow directions above.

DIRECTIONS:      from San Bernardino Fwy (I 10) exit Beaumont Ave.,
                      turn left, continue straight up
                      through town, becomes Oak Glen Rd,
                      continue a few miles to Riley’ LOG CABIN

                      
(next door to Riley’s FARM), turn right, park,
                      look for EIE (or go to store & wait).

PARKING:        $5.00 (pay there)
FOOD:             Bring a sack lunch –or–
                  purchase food from Riley’s (sandwich lunch has chips,
                  drink & sub sandwich)—advance payment required.  

Prices noted; list quantity desired and include payment for food with field
trip payment.

Riley’s is an apple farm with pioneer activities: American Music; Frontier
Cabin Activities;  Cider Making; Archery;  Etiquette; Wagon Ride, Meet a
Pilgrim Settler: .  We’ll lunch  in their shady picnic grove.

When: Tuesday, October 27   
          
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
Cost:   $6.00 per child and  $2.00 per adult
Activities:  Highlights Include
             free pumpkin per child
             unlimited rides/games on jumper
             blow-up slide
             booth games
             small treat after playing games
             hayride ride pulled by tractor
             free parking
             We can have a picnic lunch after by the
lake with the ducks,                  just outside the
patch.
NOTE:  We need 30 people to qualify for this field
