REGULAR CLASSES

INTRODUCTION TO MODEL MAKING
Taught by Robert Stuard
TWO HOUR CLASSES ON FRIDAYS
SEE SCHEDULE BELOW
$40.00 PER MONTH

OK, we know that you are thinking that this is a class for making model cars, planes or
boats from plastic kits.  Well, guess what, you are wrong!  This is a real modeling class
that will teach the student how to create (conceptualize) from basic building blocks
fantastic creations of three dimensional items, much like an architect would build to
present his ideas to a client.  Through the use of basic mathematics, a ruler, wood,
cardboard, glue and other building materials you will create a model buildings or other
objects.  The student will learn how to take a vision (concept) and convert it to a fantastic
three dimensional object.  This will be a great class!!  Parents are encouraged to attend
at no additional cost to observe and participate in this class.

CLASS SCHEDULE
ALL CLASSES ARE ON FRIDAYS

Intermediate Level:  10:00 am – 12:00 noon
Beginning Level:  12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

excellent both as a refresher for those who have struggled with algebra before and as a
first course for any student who has mastered fractions, decimals and percents.  All new
students must either take a placement test at EIE prior to taking the course or have

language on origins doesn’t come up in Physical Science since we are dealing with
chemistry and physics only.  If you have any questions please contact Jill Wilcox.
