A Visit with Great Presidents
FOREST LAWN — COVINA HILLS

TIME:       9:00 AM (Program begins at 9:30 and lasts approx. 1 hour)
COST:      FREE        (please show up if you reserve a seat)                        
PLACE:    Church of Our Heritage: 21300 Via Verde Drive, Covina, CA
DIRECTIONS:  From the 10 Freeway, take Via Verde Exit and go south
into Forest Lawn.  Ask for directions to the Church of Our Heritage.

This year’s program will feature George Washington, Thomas Jefferson,
and James Madison.  The theme of the program will be the United States
Constitution, allowing each president to give his thoughts on the
significance and impact of that important document.  These men were all
influential in shaping the powers of the Constitution and the nature of the
emerging republic. Following each president’s presentation, there will be a
question and answer segment for the audience.

Los Angeles COUNTY FAIR

DATE:          Thursday, September 23, 2010

TIME:            9:00 AM  (Do not be late, no entry after school gate closes. )

PLACE:   Los Angeles County Fairgrounds, Pomona, CA
          ...from the 10 fwy., exit White Ave., turn left,…OR
          ...from the 210 fwy., exit Fruit St., turn right, (becomes White Ave.)

          to Parking lot at Gate 9 (also called the Blue Gate )
          (approx. $8.00 fee -OR- display school parking pass on dash),
          park and walk in the school gate (to the left of the ticket booths).
COST:            $3.00 per family (Pick up your parking pass at EIE)

sunscreen, water).  Bring your own food to eat at the picnic area (grass,
trees, hillside) -OR- bring money for food.

COST:            $3.00 per person materials fee

Change your students’ lives forever by giving them the total opera
experience.  They will be dazzled by the powerful music, the wonderful
artists, orchestra, sets, costumes and the beautiful theater itself.     We will
have one pre-performance meeting to learn about the opera.  These
meetings will be arranged in the near future.  You will be notified.
